Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno

The world many colours and tints does offer

From the spectrum of myriad hues

They chose a blue for me somehow

And my friend, a pink for you

Cars, toy guns, bat and balls

Would make for my childhood play

The little girl in her pigtails and curls

With tea sets and dolls spent her days

I was a “man” of brute strength

Bold and brave, must not cry,

Not back out of a good fair fight

Look my rival in the eye

I could be a knight in shining armour

But what they did not know

That princess in the ivory tower

Was not where my heart would go

The Lancelot sought no Guinevere

But King Arthur would he claim

Unfettered by social shame or norms

His spirit free, unashamed

The luminous white within itself

A rainbow spectrum does enshrine

Once filtered through the eyes of love

Each colour the other outshines

Every feather added to the wing

Lends its power to the whole

The whole of us rely on each of us

And each multiplies the strength manifold

Life Gets Better Together Quintessentially

Raising us to be more than we can be

Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno

On iridescent wings my soul soars free
